Step 1
Find the E of the first octave on the piano keyboard. If you do not play this instrument, use the signed key scheme. The first octave is in the middle of the keyboard, just opposite the pianist sitting at the instrument. If you have a six-string guitar, use this key to tune the open first string. In a seven-stringed string, the first string corresponds to the D sound of the first octave.
Step 2
The rest of the strings can be tuned in two ways. For example, the way a guitar is usually tuned. The second string of the six-string is clamped at the 5th fret and must match the open first. In this instrument, all strings, except for the third, are clamped at this fret and tune along the thinner adjacent ones. Hold the third fret at the fourth fret and adjust to the open second.
Step 3
The seven-string guitar is built on the G major triad. The second string is clamped at the third fret, the third at the second, and the fourth at the fifth. The same order is maintained for the basses, that is, press the fifth fret at the third fret, the sixth at the fourth fret, and the seventh at the fifth fret.
Step 4
You can also tune all strings for the piano. The second string of the six-string is B of a minor octave. Find the required key on the diagram. It is located to the left up to the first octave. In the small octave, you also need the G and D keys, along which the third and fourth strings are built. The fifth and sixth sound the same as the sounds of A and E of the large octave. It is located to the left of the small one.
Step 5
To tune a seven-string guitar on the piano, find the sounds of B, G, and D in the low and high octaves. You tune the guitar in the direction from thin strings to bass, so look for keys on the piano by moving your hand from the middle register to the lower register.
Step 6
In a twelve-string guitar, thin additional strings are built in an octave with the main ones, except for the first two. Tune the first pair in unison on the keys of the first octave, the second - on the B key. For the third pair, tune the main string to the G key of the minor octave. The additional salt will also be, but an octave higher, that is, in the first. In the fourth pair, the main string will be the D minor, and the secondary string will be the D of the first octave.
