Instructions
Step 1
Apply an embroidery pattern to the fabric. You can invent it yourself or translate it from a fashion magazine. Hoop the fabric so that the design is in the center.
Step 2
Thread the thread of the color you want through the needle. You can embroider in one, two, or three strands, depending on the thickness of the part to be embroidered in the pattern. Take the thread up to the elbow and fasten it with a knot at the end.
Step 3
Begin embroidering from the center of the pattern. You can use different techniques - cross or satin stitch. Stitching is usually used to embroider non-volumetric details (for example, flower stems) and outlines, and a cross - large details that require filling with color.
To work faster, keep one hand at the top of the hoop and the other at the bottom. One hand acts with a needle from above, and the other intercepts it from below.
At the end of the thread, experienced craftswomen do not make knots. The thread is secured under the double stitches.
Step 4
At the end of the embroidery, wash your work, starch and dry with an iron. Now you can insert it into a frame and hang it on the wall, or give it to your loved one.
