Sergei Prokhanov - Soviet and Russian artist, as well as the head of the "Theater of the Moon".
Before career
Sergei Prokhanov was born on December 29, 1952 in the capital of Russia, according to him, in a proletarian family. However, the family was talented. The grandfather had a beautiful voice. The father in the company was the ringleader, and the mother was good at drawing.
Sergei got a good voice from his grandfather, and as a child he took part in a music competition. Relatives predicted a musical career for him, but the boy screwed up at the very first stage, which affected his psyche. Prokhanov's voice began to break.
At school, he had no problems with the exact sciences, he even studied at a school with a focus on physics and mathematics. In parallel, he studied at the theater school, and on stage he felt comfortable and free.
Sergei Prokhanov tried to become a student at the Shchukin school and, having submitted documents, passed all the exams and the creative competition, after which he began to study in it. Memories of studying at the school remained only warm. Prokhanov gladly shares them: he talks about how he and his friends from school acted in films together, hosted entertainment programs and shows.
Career in theater
In 1974, Sergei graduated from drama school, after which he began to play in the theater of the Mossovet. In it, he gained vast experience playing on the same stage with the masters of the theater. Career upward did not particularly grow due to the lack of offers to play a major role, but everything changed after the character proposed to him in the play "Sasha", which Sergei could not refuse. The directors saw in him talent and seriousness in their work. All the same, growth did not last long - talented directors left the theater, and Sergei Borisovich's career began to stagnate.
In 1990, the actor organized the Masquerade cooperative. In 1992, the premiere of the musical "Jesus Christ is a Superstar" took place and it went well, because the musical is still taking place on the stages of theaters in the country.
The audience liked the performances for their unusual atmosphere. Tender Night, Liromania and many other productions were unusual.
Film career
After appearing on TV screens as a student, Sergei also appeared in various films. He got the lead role in the film "The Mustached Nurse", as well as in "Breakfast on the Grass." Since the 1980s, his career as an actor began to decline. He appeared less and less on TV, and then left the cinema altogether, explaining that it had died and would never be the same.
Personal life
Now Sergey is divorced. At the age of 20, he met his ex-wife Tatyana, with whom he had two children - a daughter and a son. The marriage did not survive. Prokhanov worked a lot and stopped paying attention to his family, and then, mistakenly thinking that his wife had cheated on him, silently left the house and, therefore, divorced her.
Now he regrets the divorce and admitted his mistake, because of which the marriage collapsed.
