Many decorate window sills with indoor flowers. So why not turn a few pots into a mini garden and decorate it with a cute scarecrow?
It is necessary
- - light fabric for the head;
- - fabric of bright colors for clothes;
- - wool for felting or yarn leftovers;
- - bamboo skewers or chopsticks for Chinese food;
- - cotton wool, synthetic winterizer or synthetic winterizer;
- - multi-colored ribbons, beads, felt or cardboard remnants;
- - markers.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a paper pattern for the head and arms of the scarecrow. The diameter of the head should be slightly more than a five-ruble coin. Transfer the pattern to a double-folded fabric (to give it a beige shade, immerse the white cotton in a strong hot solution of coffee - the cheapest instant coffee will do; squeeze, dry and steam).
Step 2
Sew the pattern line with small stitches, leaving a 2 cm wide hole at the bottom. Then carefully cut the workpiece, stepping back 2-3 mm from the seam.
Step 3
Turn out the workpiece, straighten the seam, steam it off and stuff with cotton wool or padding polyester. Insert the stick into your head, pointing the pointed tip down. Gently sew the twist hole.
Step 4
Cut a rectangle slightly larger than the scarecrow's arms out of the bright fabric. Its length should be twice the estimated length of the craft dress.
Step 5
Fold the rectangle in half, cut a hole for the head, and slide it over the scarecrow like a poncho. Fix the outfit at the bottom and on the scarecrow's arms with a bright tape. Cover the hole in the outfit with lace gathered on a thread.
Step 6
Place a lock of wool for felting on the top of the scarecrow and secure with a few stitches.
Step 7
Draw the face of the toy with felt-tip pens or embroider it.
Step 8
On the scarecrow's head, put a kerchief or hat made from the remnants of felt or cardboard.
