Do-it-yourself items can also be stylish - both women and men will get a lot of pleasure when they receive an elegant and warm knitted cap as a gift, which will emphasize your image and add originality to your autumn and winter wardrobe. You can knit such a cap from ordinary woolen yarn with a simple crochet, starting from the crown of the head.
Instructions
Step 1
Work a chain of six chain stitches and close it into a ring. Knitting two stitches in each loop, tie the ring with twelve lush stitches, performing yarn overs in front of each loop. Knit an air loop between the posts. In the first circle, pull for the stitches of the loops 1, 5 cm long.
Step 2
In the remaining rows, for lush columns, it is enough to pull the loops 1 cm long. Do not close the last column of the row with the first, but continue to knit in a spiral, increasing the number of rows and increasing the area of the circle from which you will form the cap.
Step 3
In the process of knitting the second and subsequent rows, insert the hook simultaneously under the air loops and under the chains of the "slingshot" columns of the previous circle. In further rows, place the "slingshots" above other columns, increasing the number of columns between them by one in each subsequent row. As a result, you should have a hexagonal canvas that fits your head.
Step 4
Work six to eight more rows of simple stitches, cutting stitches in one half of the circle. Do 4-5 decreases in the sixth circle, and 3-4 decreases in the eighth circle. In the eighth row, place the shortened posts between the shortened posts of the sixth row, pulling out two loops and inserting the crochet into the first chain loop. Then pull out two more loops and insert the hook into the second chain loop. Work all the stitches on the hook.
Step 5
Tie the cap with three rows of single crochets. Fold the thread in half and tie the visor of the cap on the shortened posts - tie the first row of four single crochets, two half crochets, three double crochets and four single crochets to make the fabric of different heights.
Step 6
Knit another row without a crochet and start knitting the next row in the same pattern as the first, turning the work inside out. Tie eight rows of single crochets for the visor, and add two additions in the rounded areas of the visor.
Step 7
When the visor is ready, tie it together with the crown with a single twist.
