There are many different animated films in the world where tigers are depicted in different ways. Somewhere they are drawn very fabulously, for example, the foreign hero Tigger from the Disney cartoon "The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", and somewhere on the contrary - very frightening and realistic, for example, the bloodthirsty Sherkhan in the Soviet cartoon series "Mowgli".
Instructions
Step 1
You can consider two options for how, nevertheless, to draw a tiger cub yourself - to depict the whole animal or to give all attention only to the head.
Step 2
To draw a head, decide where exactly it will be on a piece of paper and draw a large circle using a compass. Draw the horizontal and vertical axes inside the circle.
Step 3
Next, sketch out the basic outlines of the head, without pressing on the pencil with great force, so that later you can easily erase the unfortunate fragments. The head should be almost perfect in a circle. When drawing the tiger's head, place it slightly below the shoulders to give the predator a more aggressive position.
Step 4
Move the center of the muzzle slightly to the left of the axis, as the tiger will be drawn in a half-turn for a more realistic drawing. On the top line, clearly draw the ears (basically, they are the same for all felines), and in the middle of the lower left sector there will be a nose, from which you can easily denote two ovals of the cheeks.
Step 5
The distance between the eyes will be equal to the width of the nose. Due to the fact that the tiger has an elongated structure of the muzzle, the lower jaw will go beyond the circle.
Step 6
With smooth movements, connect the cheeks, nose and eyes, paying attention to the eyes - they should be surrounded by a dark thick line. Large cats have round pupils. The eyes should be slightly covered and therefore draw the pupil closer to the upper eyelid. At the end, draw asymmetrical spots and stripes on the entire plane of the head.
Step 7
In order to draw the body of the tiger, you need to pay special attention to the image of the back. Since the front part of the tiger is slightly larger than the back, then, as you draw the body (from the front to the back), you need to draw the size of the body narrower and narrower. At the same time, make your hind legs very powerful.
Step 8
It is not difficult to depict the color of a tiger cub - its stripes on the body. Suppose that when sketching, the location of the ribs coincides with the direction of the stripes, which are sometimes interrupted and in the abdomen have the shape of a boomerang, also draw several stripes in the form of a "dash". By the way, not a single tiger cub has stripes that would ring his body completely, without interruption.
