Step 1
Start, of course, by opening the photos or pictures to be glued together. To get started, open several photos at once in one window. To do this, open them separately in the program of your choice (using its own window for each). After that, in one of the windows, right-click on the photo / picture, select the Duplicate layer mode. In the window that appears, in the drop-down list, select a document with your photo / picture.
Step 2
Use the Move Tool (V) to place the pictures so that they are on the same level. Combine them the way you would like to see them combined later.
Step 3
Select the top layer and click on the Add Layer Mask icon.
Step 4
Move the top layer down a bit (again, the Move Tool), in order to make the process a little easier and easier. This can later help determine the length of the gradient for your mask.
Step 5
Select the gradient tool (Fill with a gradient) (G). Moreover, the settings for the gradient should be as follows: Mode - normal, Opacity - 100%, click on the very first square of 5. Then click on the edge of the upper image, hold down the Shift key, and drag a horizontal line from the beginning of the upper picture to the end of the lower one.
Step 6
Make the gradient line a little bit shorter to sharpen and stand out your photos / images. After that, combine the photos / pictures by lifting the top one. It is advisable to merge the layers after that, but this is not necessary. If you follow all the steps outlined above and follow them carefully, take your time and focus on good results, you will definitely get quality work.
