Orchids are perennial monocotyledonous herbaceous plants. There are more than 24,000 varieties of them. This flower attracts with its unusually beautiful shape. Try drawing an orchid.
Instructions
Step 1
Use light lines to sketch an oval for the center of the flower. On each side, sketch out the petals that connect to the top of the oval. In total, you need to draw 6 large petals that are not adjacent to each other. Draw them straight at first. Draw one petal vertically upward. On the sides of it, place two petals slightly up and to the sides. Draw one petal in the shape of a pot-bellied number 8, not connected in the center. Draw the last two smaller petals in circles along the sides of the central oval, below the other side petals.
Step 2
Draw a thin, elongated leaf protruding from the top right petal. Draw a thin trunk, from which draw another leaf.
Step 3
Reshape the petals by adding wavy lines. Reshape the center of the flower so that it is an irregular oval. Erase the extra lines.
Step 4
Add another line to each sheet to show that the edge is folded. That is, draw an oblique line, dividing the sheet into two unequal parts. On each sheet, draw several long, parallel lines in the small part that is inverted.
Step 5
Outline the petals, giving them a more irregular edge. On the lower petal, just below the central oval, draw small circles and wavy curves near the center of the flower.
Step 6
Draw a line upward from the base of the right side of the stem to show that the top leaf is attached to the stem.
Step 7
Add a series of small dots surrounding the core of the orchid. For some of the petals, add a line to the outline to show that the edge of the petal is slightly curved. Shade the majority of the center of the flower with short, parallel lines. Shade the petals from the core, not bringing them to the middle of the petals. At the folds of the petals, shade with thin lines. Shade the edges of the petals along the growth line, making longer strokes in places of the wavy lines. Lightly shade the lower parts of the leaves with parallel lines, as well as the trunk. The orchid is ready.
