Most often, orchid wilting manifests itself in yellowing and shedding of leaves. There may be several reasons for this.

Some orchid varieties are very susceptible to fungal attack. Unfortunately, you will have to part with the affected plant. You are unlikely to succeed in removing the harmful fungus. The only thing you can still do in this case is to examine the flower. If he himself tries to fight for life, releasing the rudiments of roots along the stem, cut off the healthy part of it along with the roots and germinate a new orchid from it.

Industrial cultivation of orchids is put on stream, it is profitable for the manufacturer to grow and sell a flower as soon as possible, so he uses fertilizers and top dressing to the maximum. The orchid goes on sale, literally stuffed with them, which sooner or later leads to sad consequences, even replanting in a new land does not help. But you can still save the plant. Put the pot with it in a warm, bright place, water it every 2 weeks with diluted nitrogen fertilizer that stimulates the growth of leaves, but cut off all the ovaries that form so that the orchid accumulates strength without wasting them on flowering. Treatment should be continued for 2-3 years, after which the orchid can be allowed to bloom.

Lack of light and too dense soil in the pot can also cause the plant to wilt. Therefore, always make sure that the flower has the right conditions for it.
Step 5
It may happen that the orchid is infested with aphids. Carefully inspect the leaves, and if parasites are found, wipe each leaf on both sides with a damp handkerchief. For prevention, spray the plant with a special anti-pest preparation.
