A patterned mirror will refresh your home and grab the attention of guests. On the mirrors, you can create not only beautiful ornaments and inscriptions in any language - for example, good sayings - but also witty poems, and much more. In order to apply a durable, bright, noticeable pattern to your mirror, you do not need to have special skills or expensive equipment. At the same time, the drawing can be thin and accurate.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a stencil for drawing. Today it is very easy to do it in a company using a plotter. Any bureau that deals with outdoor advertising, or simply provides "plotter services" will help you - and it will not cost much. For a monochrome image, create one stencil, or two for a monochrome image in different tones.
Step 2
Make some stencils for a multi-color image. Deliver your drawing, or better a computer file of the drawing, to this company, and the experts will advise you on how to make the necessary stencils. The plotter will cut them out of the film exactly according to your sketches.
Step 3
Degrease the glass and apply a stencil film to it. Most likely, it will be oracle. It is good to cover it on glass on a thin soap film - then you can move and smooth the stencil. Press firmly on all edges and areas of the film. Wait and wash off the soap from the dry surface. Warm up the surface with a hair dryer. Spread the paste over the exposed areas again and rinse.
Step 4
When painting, do not bring the can too close to the glass. Otherwise, the jet will form puddles of paint stains on the glass. The paint should gradually blow out the surface. Do not cover with a thick layer.
Step 5
Fill in the color of the exposed areas on your mirror - those that are not covered by the film. You can spray paint from different color cans onto the same stencil. Then you can get interesting and vivid effects. However, experts advise to wait until each color is completely dry in order to apply another, then you can control the look of your work yourself.
