Step 1
To make paper candy, cut a suitable size square out of cardboard. This will be the center of the candy. From corrugated paper, cut a rectangle 5-10 centimeters wider and 20-30 centimeters longer in length than a cardboard square.
Step 2
Roll up a cardboard square and glue the ends together to form a tube. Wrap the gift in wrapping paper or a plastic bag and place it inside the straw. The parts of the gift should not protrude beyond the edges of the cardboard tube. Tape the wrapped gift around the edges of the tube so it doesn't fall out.
Step 3
Take the corrugated paper rectangle you cut out and wrap it around the straw like a candy cane. There should be equal corrugated paper protrusions on both sides of the straw. Secure the paper with a piece of tape so it does not unfold.
Step 4
Gather the crepe paper on both sides of the candy and tie it with ribbons.
