In order to make a lamp you will need the following materials:
- plastic cartridge of standard sizes - 1 pc.;
- mounting plastic ring - 1 pc.;
- CD with a pre-cut hole for the cartridge - 2 pcs.;
- stranded copper wire 1.5x2 - 1 m in size;
- reinforcing rings of clamps - 2 pcs.;
- hard tulle - length -4.5 meters, width 2 meters;
- plastic base - 1 pc.;
- energy saving light bulb - 1 pc.;
- lycra - 10 * 10 cm;
- copper tube with a diameter of 8 mm - 1 pc.
The preparation of the lamp shade is a creative process, much depends on the degree of rigidity of tulle. What color did you decide to make the lamp - this color of tulle must be purchased.
It is necessary to cut out 5 parts from tulle, which are circles with a hole with a diameter of 20 cm cut out inside. The outer diameter of the circle decreases by 20 cm relative to the previous one.
Lay the details made of tulle on top of each other as they decrease, aligning the cuts along the contour of the inner hole. Fasten all 5 circles with basting stitches about 1 cm wide, while gathering the material on a thread as tightly as possible.

Assembly of the lamp
Pass the wire through the copper tube and bend it into the desired shape. Attach the cartridge to the cord. Screw on one ring - clip and put the CD on top of it. Fit a tulle shade, secure it with a second CD with a reinforcing ring - clip. Pressing tightly all the parts of the plafond - secure them with a ring.
On the opposite end of the cord, put on a base, previously covered with lycra. Attach with a cord to a hook on the ceiling and, observing safety rules, connect to electricity.
For fire safety purposes, before installing the luminaire, it is necessary to check it. To do this, it is necessary - to connect the lamp for several hours and check if the fabric cover from the light bulb is heating up.
