Yurt is one of the most ancient human dwellings. It has survived to this day almost unchanged, since it is extremely convenient for those who lead a nomadic lifestyle. The yurt is a round structure with a sharp roof covered with felt. Draw it in about the same way as any cylindrical object.

It is necessary

  • -simple pencil;
  • -paper;
  • - paints or colored pencils;
  • -Picture with a picture of a yurt.

Instructions

Step 1

Since you hardly have the opportunity to draw a yurt from life, take a picture of this dwelling of Asian nomads. Consider carefully what shape it is and what each part looks like. The bottom of the yurt is a low wide cylinder, and the top is tapered.

Step 2

In this case, it is better to lay the sheet horizontally. If you are going to draw not only a mouth, but some kind of everyday scene from the life of nomads, then the location of the sheet will depend on your idea. The yurt does not stand in an empty place. As a rule, steppe nomads live in it, so first draw a horizon line. It's just a straight line roughly in the middle of the sheet. It can be slightly higher or lower, but in any case it should be parallel to the bottom edge.

Step 3

Divide the horizon line in half and draw a thin vertical line across the middle. From the horizon line, set aside equal segments up and down along the axial line. They should not be very long, the width of the yurt is about 2 times its height, and the structure needs to fit on the sheet. Divide the height into 2 pieces. The bottom one will end just above the horizon line. Place a point at the junction of the roof and wall.

Step 4

Along the horizon line, set aside segments to the right and left, approximately equal to half the width of the yurt. Draw 2 vertical lines through these points equal to the height of the wall. The bottom points of these lines should be at the same level in relation to the bottom edge of the sheet and slightly above the point that you put at the bottom of the centerline. The top ends of these lines are just above the junction of the wall and roof.

Step 5

Connect the lower points with an arc. Its convex part is directed downward. Connect the upper points with the same arc. The midpoints of both arcs pass through the corresponding points on the centerline. Draw the roof. Connect the top points of the vertical lines, between which you just drew an arc, with straight lines to the highest point you put on the centerline.

Step 6

Draw a door in the middle of the wall. Its jamb runs under the very roof. Draw a short strip parallel to the line where the roof and wall join. Lead it at the same small distance from the centerline in one direction and the other. Draw the racks. They are 2 wide lines downward from the ends of the jamb. At the bottom, connect their ends with a piece parallel to the lower edge of the wall, but located slightly higher. Inside the resulting rectangle, make something like a window - draw 2 thin straight lines parallel to the bottom line of the sheet, and circle the part of the axial part between them.

Step 7

On the wall of the yurt, make 3 arcs parallel to the existing ones. Do not draw the central part of them, there is a door in this place. Paint the yurt a uniform grayish brown. Draw the arcs on the wall with a darker paint. These lines should be thin. Make the roof white, light gray or yellowish.
