Step 1
To sew an embroidered denim mobile phone case, first make a pattern. The easiest way to do it is right over the phone - put your phone on paper and circle it. Transfer the pattern to the fabric, but do not forget to add one and a half centimeters to the seams. You should have two pieces of denim and two pieces of lining. For the outer part of the cover, you can use fabric from old jeans or a skirt. Use a smooth, sturdy fabric for lining.
Step 2
Before cutting out the details of the cover, make the embroidery. Find a suitable pattern and pin the drawing on the tracing paper using a needle. Place the tracing paper prepared in this way on denim and draw along the lines of the drawing with chalk - a silhouette will remain on the fabric, along which it is easy to embroider. Take a floss of a suitable color and embroider, carefully fixing the knots on the wrong side of the fabric. If you are not familiar with the technique of embroidering complex patterns, limit yourself to simple patterns that are easy to embroider with a backstitch. If desired, embroidery can be supplemented with beads or sequins.
Step 3
Fold the outer parts of the future cover seamy side out and sew. Fasten the ends of the threads carefully - negligence will lead to the fact that the finished cover will creep along the seams. Sew the lining pieces in the same way. Turn the denim blank with the seams inward and insert the lining so that its seams are inside the cover. Sew the details.
Step 4
It remains to fix the fittings. Attach the metal rings to the cell phone case. They can be simply sewn tightly to the cover, or they can be inserted into special loops made of denim. Sew the loops into the corners before joining the outer part and the lining of the cover. Take the cord and attach the carabiners to it. Clip the carabiners to the rings.
