Instructions
Step 1
Place the backing on the table, attach the canvas to it with pins. If it is larger than the backing, fold it over and tuck it neatly under it. Move the canvas while embroidering and secure it with the buttons.
Step 2
Select beads according to the colors that are in the embroidery pattern. For convenience, next to the backing, place a cloth on the table and sprinkle beads of the required color on it in piles.
Step 3
Start embroidery from the bottom or top line of the diagram. How many cells are in the line of the diagram, this number of beads will be in a row. Start moving from right to left, it is more convenient to work this way. Take the length of the thread for the row five times longer than the embroidery width.
Step 4
If you need the beads to be spaced apart from each other, sew large stitches with the needle first. To avoid a gap between the beads, sew the seam back with the needle, returning to the previous stitch.
Step 5
To better secure the beads to the canvas, do not cut the thread at the end of the row, but pull it through each bead in the opposite direction to the beginning of the row and fasten there. All beads in a row will be perfectly flat.
Step 6
A row of beads can be sewn differently. To do this, string the required amount of beads on a thread, lay it on the applied pattern, and sew it to the fabric with the second working thread. Attach the thread between the beads with stitches.
Step 7
For embroidery with beads, you can use cross stitch patterns. Each cross on the diagram will be one bead. Sew the beads with a half-cross stitch. Try to keep the rows even, and the beads lay in one direction.
Step 8
If you want to make beaded embroidery on clothes, pay attention to the quality of the material. Poor-quality beads can fade, burn out in the sun, peel off. Rub a few beads in your hands, put them in the sun for a while. If the color has not changed and the paint has not peeled off, such beads can be used to decorate clothes.
