Often in the lessons of the Russian language and literature, they are given the task to write an essay. The teacher gives the requirements for the construction of the work itself - this is the introduction, the main part and the conclusion. If in the assignment he asks to tell about his family, then he would not want the text of the main part to look like a list of names and family ties. Write such an essay with your child to teach them how to express themselves creatively.

It is necessary

  • - paper;
  • - a pen.

Instructions

Step 1

Ask your child to remember all the members of your family and tell a little about them, write down his memories in brief. Now try to tell about your relatives, far and near. Compare your stories and characteristics - it may turn out that you have different ideas about the same person. This exchange of opinions and memories of loved ones with your child is very useful for establishing trust between you. After all, for sure, you will remember some funny situations in which your relatives fell, and some traits of their characters that are not entirely pleasant to you.

Step 2

Discuss with the child his relationship with close and distant family members, find out if everything in this relationship suits him. So, when trying to write a story about a family, you will not only get closer to your son or daughter yourself, but you will also find out in a timely manner about some problems that you did not even know about.

Step 3

It is unlikely that a child will be interested in writing in the dry language of numbers and facts, and listing all the branches of the family tree will lead to just that. Offer to write, maybe not about all family members, but about those who really take part in your life, and about whom you know many interesting and instructive stories. Make a short rough sketch based on your shared memories. Read it out loud and decide what is superfluous and what topic needs to be covered in more detail.

Step 4

Do not be afraid - no one expects and, for sure, does not ask for a scrupulous record of facts about your family! Just try to sincerely rejoice that you are surrounded by such wonderful people, about whom you can write so much and interestingly. Do not impose on a diligent schoolboy your opinion about a relative if he categorically disagrees with him - learn to listen and hear. If you have pets that you have long perceived as family members, then maybe it is worth writing about them as well?

Step 5

Discuss the list of prospective heroes of the future literary opus. It may well be that you limit yourself to the people closest to you. Ask your child to talk about their family, assuming they will write about the same. If both of you are satisfied with the result, then sit down and write, preferably you too. Now, your little writer’s essay about the family will definitely not be impersonal and uninteresting!
