An astral chart or natal chart is a symbolic representation of the position of the planets and luminaries at the time of a person's birth. The following tips will help you create a chart for yourself or someone else.

Instructions
Step 1
With the help of a compass, we draw three circles, one in the other. The third inner circle should be noticeably smaller than the first two.
Step 2
Divide the space between the two outer circles into 12 equal parts. Each section will be marked with one of the 12 zodiac signs.
Step 3
On each sector we place the symbol of the zodiac sign, in order and counterclockwise - Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn.
Step 4
Divide each sector into 30 equal parts, that is, the whole circle will be divided by 360 degrees.
Step 5
Find an ascending sign based on the subject's date and time of birth, as well as the longitude and width of the place of birth, in the ephemeris table.
Step 6
Mark the ascendant - the ascending sign - on the plotted diagram, counting the degrees counterclockwise.

The easiest way is to start with a rising sign and continue counterclockwise again. If the ascending sign is 12 degrees Leo, the first house will be from there to 12 degrees Virgo, the second will be from 12 degrees Virgo to 12 degrees Libra, and so on.

Calculate the aspects - the angular distances between two significant points in the horoscope.
