Sometimes there is a need, or an opportunity, or a need to prepare and conduct an event that you have not previously had to deal with. The result is new experiences, growth, and positive experiences. As an example, consider the preparation and conduct of a lesson for beginner chess players. Indeed, by analogy, many other events can be prepared.

Instructions

Step 1

Determine the ultimate goal of the session. Let's say you need to organize the kids' leisure time. Let's prepare the first chess lesson for them. Since you do not have experience with such activities, set a very simple goal. In this case, suppose that none of the children knows how to play chess. After the first lesson, let them learn to place all the pieces on the board.

Step 2

Come up with a story. Your event doesn't have to be boring. And it doesn't matter if you do it for children or for adults. Everyone should have fun. Don't be too serious. To come up with a story, you have to imagine that you are in a fairy tale. Now the fairy tale will be a chess one. Let it be a parade of chess pieces. And the chessboard is the square for the solemn parade. In our story, children will take turns commanding the parade.

Step 3

Break the path to the goal into several simple time segments, 5-7 minutes each. The first segment - getting to know the parade square. The second segment - we assign commanders with different figures. Third segment - we are doing a dress rehearsal before the parade. The fourth segment - we are conducting a parade. The fifth segment - we change roles and do everything from the beginning.

Step 4

Formulate in writing how each time segment will go. Write as if you are already speaking to children. The first segment might look like this. "Guys, today we will have a solemn parade. Who knows what a parade is? And where do parades usually take place? Our parade will take place on a special square - a chessboard. Tell us what you see on this square for the parade? Each square is a place for one participant. And each participant must stand only in his place, then the parade will turn out beautiful. "Similarly, write how all the other time segments will pass. The entries should be very short. During the lesson, more time should be spent on practical exercises, and not on listening to theory. So cut, cut, and cut until you get a quick explanation.

Step 5

Rehearse your event. To do this, invite one or two listeners who can give you hints. You will say everything that you have prepared. This will help you to relive a little what will happen next. And then you will worry less. Let one invitee not know how to play chess at all. And the second one is very good at playing. This will give you hints from people of all levels.

Step 6

Conduct an activity. Don't judge yourself. Just try to enjoy the conversation.

Step 7

Draw conclusions. Did you manage to achieve the goal set in the first step? Write down your experiences and conclusions in a journal. In the future, these notes will help you prepare for such events.
