If your sweater is well preserved, but you are tired of its model, let's try to "breathe new life into it". Stock up on imagination and creativity!
Instructions
Step 1
The first way to update an old sweater is to decorate its sleeves with lace. In a needlework store we buy lace that matches the color, or, if you know how to crochet, it is better to knit it yourself. You need two identical ones - on both sleeves. We add lace to the sleeves and sew on a typewriter. Then we cut out the extra part of the sleeve, which is under the lace. To prevent sweater threads from crawling, you can glue them with glue, or sweep them by hand.
Step 2
Cut narrow strips from knitted fabric. Using nail scissors, make cuts around the neck of the sweater and pass strips of fabric through them. From the inside, we sew the ends of the strips with threads to the sweater. The strips can be cut as multi-colored or of the same color.
Step 3
Another way to decorate a blouse is to sew lace flowers on it. Just cut flowers out of lace and sew them on, the middle of the flowers can be decorated with beads.
Step 4
If you have a metal chain, you can sew it around the seams of the sweater and around the neckline.
Step 5
You can also sew large or small rhinestones around the neck in the form of a necklace. Make sure you have enough rhinestones so that both sides are symmetrical.
