A fairly large number of people are fond of hunting for animals. Especially in the price they have small animals, the fur of which is used for the manufacture of fur coats, collars and hats. One of these is the sable. But in order for his skin to be suitable for further use, the hunter needs to know how to properly dress it.

Step 1
First, evaluate the sable skin externally. If you find small tears or bruises on it, immediately discount about 10% from its cost. The presence of large enough bald spots makes the fur a quarter discounted. The dressing of the entire skin as a whole depends on the presence of such damage - after all, in no case should they be allowed to become more noticeable and larger.
Step 2
Before starting dressing, check that there are no bones in the tail or legs. The only thing that remains in place is the nose. Then carefully wipe the inside of the sable skin to remove any remaining fat and meat. Now you can proceed directly to the dressing.
Step 3
Stretch the hide on a specially prepared surface. A wooden table with a flat and wide table top is best suited for these purposes. Spread the skin of the sable on the table with the skin outside. Mezdra is the bottom layer of the hide. It is best to use spacers for the first skin stripping. Stretch the skin over them and set them on the table surface. Only clean the flesh with a dull knife. This is necessary in order not to damage the surface of the skin and not to cut the deep roots of the hairs.
Step 4
Clean up bruising. When removing them, pay special attention to the area of the tail, ears and paws of the sable. If you ignore them, the skin may begin to heat up. After all, the blood accumulated in the folds will deteriorate over time, which will entail problems with the skin as a whole - the quality of the product will deteriorate, its wear resistance will significantly decrease. Remove the skin from the spacers, turn it out and place it on the table.
Step 5
Peel the outside of the sable skin. Remove all blood stains. If there is any other contamination, treat it as well. It is necessary to work with the outside of the skin with a clean dry cloth and a comb. Dry the sable skin after cleaning. But this should be done for a reason. Pull the skin gently over the spear. This must be done so that no breaks appear. If, nevertheless, damage has not been done, carefully sew up and repair the damaged areas. Comb the fur.
