The crocodile skin pattern is knitted simply in two stages. Knitting a pattern does not take much time, no special tools are required. All you need is a crochet hook, patience and yarn. The crocodile skin pattern looks very impressive. It is used for knitting bulky hats, bags, decorative pillows. With this pattern, you can knit a beautiful and unusual cardigan.
It is necessary
Hook, yarn, scissors, tape measure
Instructions
Step 1
Cast on a chain of air loops. The number of loops dialed should be a multiple of 3 (since two double crochets are knitted from one loop, two air loops are knitted between paired columns). For example, for knitting a pattern, cast on 27 air loops.
Step 2
Tie two lifting chain stitches and one double crochet into the first stitch of the chain.
Step 3
Skip two chain stitches (second and third chain stitches) and tie two double crochets in one stitch (fourth chain stitch).
Step 4
Knit double crochet stitches alternating with two air loops. It turns out 10 double crochet stitches, they will serve as the basis for knitting the main pattern.
Step 5
Tie the last column of the base chain with double crochets.
Step 6
Tie five double crochets, one stitch and five more double crochets (they fit on the second column). The result is an element that looks like scales.
Step 7
You do not need to tie the next pair of posts. That is, in each row, only half of the paired columns need to be tied.
Step 8
In the first row, tie paired columns: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 (counting from the left edge of the canvas).
Step 9
One loop remains on the hook, it must be connected to the loop of the base chain.
Step 10
Pull the loop out of the lifting air loop and knit it together with the pattern loop on the hook.
Step 11
The second row of the base chain is knitted in the same way as the first, paired columns and two air loops alternate.
Step 12
The number of paired columns is the same as in the first row. There are 10 of them in the sample.
Step 13
The main pattern is knitted between the elements of the pattern of the first row. Tie paired posts: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.
Step 14
The pattern is knitted according to the scheme.
Step 15
It turns out a beautiful, voluminous pattern.
