In order to make a short but memorable clip, you need to cut off everything unnecessary from it. There are many ways to cut a video file. The most logical way to do this is in a video editing program. However, if you don't need to do anything other than trimming the video, you can use a converter program.

Instructions
Step 1
Load the clip into Canopus ProCoder. This can be done by clicking on the Add button located in the upper left part of the program window. In the explorer window select the required file and click on the "Open" button. You can upload several files at once by selecting them while holding down the Ctrl key.
Step 2
Pick the start and end of the clip to trim. To do this, click on the Advanced button in the program window. A window with a player will open. By starting playback or by dragging the cursor of the current frame located under the player window, find the frame from which the part of the video you are interested in begins. Press the In button to the right of the player window and drag the pointer of the current frame to the last frame after which the clip should be trimmed. Click the Out button, which is located under the In button. If you have uploaded more than one file for trimming, specify the beginning and end of trimming for each. To do this, click on the Source tab and select a file for which the trim start and end have not yet been set. Click on the Advanced button again and set the start and end trim for this file.
Close the Advanced tab by clicking the Close button in the program window.
Step 3
Adjust the parameters of the clip you want to get the output. To do this, click on the Target tab and click on the Add button. In the window that opens, click on the System item and select the same file type as in the Source tab. Click OK. Paste the Target tab parameters with the same values as those found on the Source tab. Click the button to the right of Path and select a location on your computer where the trimmed clip will be saved.
Step 4
Click on the Convert button. In the opened tab under the player window, check the Preview checkbox if it is not there. This will give you the ability to track the process. Click on the Convert button below the player window. Wait until the program finishes. Clips are cut.
