Figures of animals perfectly decorate the summer cottage. Make a frog princess out of plastic bottles, let a fairy-tale character settle in one of its corners. The second croak may well become a functional box.
Figurine for the garden: preparatory work
Prepare everything you need before starting work. Here's what you need:
- 2 plastic bottles of 2 and one 0.5 liters;
- marker;
- scissors;
- awl;
- wire;
- thin brush;
- acrylic paint in yellow, green and blue colors.
Take two large bottles. So far, only the bottom is needed from them. For one, cut this part 6 cm high, for the other - 7 cm. From the remaining parts you need to cut out 4 legs of the reptile.
The front two are hands with three fingers. Leave a 2 cm allowance above the brushes, so that later it will be easier to attach them to the body.
The other two also end with a brush with fingers, but above them you need to draw with a marker, and then cut out a part of the frog's leg to the knee and round off these 2 details at the top.
Now cover all the details with green paint, let it dry. If paint is not at hand, take bottles of green with the lowest transparency.
Creating a fairytale character
After the parts are dry, take the two that you cut from the bottom of the bottles. Insert the smaller one into the larger one with slits. The first is the head, and the second is the lower body of the frog, made from plastic bottles.
It's time to feel like artists. In the upper half of the resulting shape, paint with blue paint the border of the two round eyes of the frog, inside with the same color - the pupils. Paint the area around them up to the border with yellow paint. The eyes have acquired expressiveness. If this is an enchanted princess, you can paint her long eyelashes in blue. He will also help to make a smiling mouth and a small nose, consisting of two points-nostrils.
The princess is given a crown. Cut it out of a 0.5ml bottle. To do this, draw 5 sharp-nosed petals just below the cork. Cut them out along with the screw neck, paint yellow. Put the crown on the head of the magical character with the cork side down, secure with wire.
On the right side, at the junction of the head with the body, attach the back leg of the frog, on the left - the same. To do this, pierce these places with an awl, push through the wire, connect the parts with it. At the front, fasten the 2 front legs in the same way. Place the frog on a rock or near a decorative pond.
Useful thing
You can slightly modify the proposed image and make the frog out of plastic bottles not only beautiful, but also useful. To do this, cut off the lower parts of the bottles by 10 cm. With an awl, make punctures in their upper parts, sew one part of a detachable zipper onto each. Insert a needle into the puncture sites. Do the rest of the parts as described above. In such a frog from a bottle, you can store useful little things, for example, spare keys, a tape measure, a flashlight.
