A unique, attractive outwardly notebook can become a true creation of art and a very useful thing. Such a "masterpiece" can be presented to a forgetful colleague, a stroma boss and, of course, to your beloved.

For work you will need:
- hardcover notebook
- breadboard or clerical knife
- acrylic paints
- scissors
- sponge brush
- decoupage glue
- sandpaper-zero
- acrylic lacquer
- glue "Moment-crystal"
- pictures for decoupage
- artificial flowers
- old lace
- spare parts for a mechanical alarm clock
- decorative mosaic
- buttons
- old notes
- double sided tape
Execution technique
Carefully detach the notebook cover from the sheet unit. Sand the surface with sandpaper and wipe with a dry cloth. The main color of the notebook will be golden. Sponge up the paint and blot it to get a little grainy surface. Acrylic paint will take no more than a quarter of an hour to dry.
After painting, move on to tint the edges with a dark color. Run a sponge around the edges of the cover and shape the corners. Once dry, you will notice that the notebook has aged.
Choose an image for your notebook, it can be decoupage cards, napkins or scrapbooking paper of the appropriate style. Glue the picture from the wrong side with decoupage glue or PVA, diluted with water in a 1: 1 ratio. If you have chosen napkins, they do not need to be varnished beforehand. Apply glue to the surface of the notebook and attach a napkin, apply another layer of glue on top with a soft brush and leave to dry for 20-30 minutes.
Apply brown paint to the edges of the picture to erase the boundaries between the notebook and the image. After drying, you can proceed to decorating. Take double-sided tape and from above, collecting with an accordion, fasten the lace tape. Cover the surface with acrylic varnish. It is important to carry out the procedure after the lace is applied, as the varnish will provide additional fixation of the decor.
In the upper part of the cover, glue a scrap of notes, having previously "aged" them with ink. Fasten the parts of the old alarm clock closer to the spine. At the bottom, place the artificial flowers, a metal chain and buttons painted with gold acrylic paint. Finally, add a small amount of decorative mosaics.
