Platforms, huts and tree houses are a good help for hunters. Yes, and on a trip or a long tourist trip, such a shelter can also come in handy. To equip a hut on a tree, you will need the simplest materials and tools, as well as the help of a partner.

It is necessary

  • - poles;
  • - boards;
  • - branches and twigs of trees;
  • - cord or rope;
  • - wire;
  • - nails;
  • - a hammer;
  • - ax.

Instructions

Step 1

Find a place for a hut. In some cases, a large tree with a branched crown can become the basis for construction. But if you could not find a suitable tree, equip a hut on three or four small diameter trunks standing next to each other. In this case, the base of the hut will have a triangular shape or the form of a quadrangle.

Step 2

Find strong and reliable poles for the bottom of the structure. Their diameter must be large enough to support the weight of two to three people. Attach the poles horizontally to the branches of a tree or multiple trees at the desired height using a hammer and nails. If these tools are not available, you can fasten the poles with a strong cord, rope or wire. As a result, you should get a rectangular, square or irregular base.

Step 3

Build a floor for the hut. As a flooring, you can use the same poles or pre-prepared boards. The floor must be securely anchored to the frame with nails, rope or wire harness.

Step 4

Make the walls of the hut. They will be determined by the building design you choose. The easiest option is to make a gable roof that rests directly on the floor. To do this, you need large and even branches of trees. Tie the individual links of the structure together and the horizontal upper ridge. Additionally attach the top rail to the tree branches for added stability.

Step 5

Cover the frame from which the walls are made with pine or spruce branches to shelter the interior from bad weather. One of the side walls of the gable roof can be made deaf, providing for the entrance to the hut from the opposite side. When completing the construction of the hut, attach steps or a rope ladder to the tree trunk from the side of the entrance.

Step 6

If you're building a permanent structure, try making it look like a rectangular house with vertical walls and a horizontal roof. This design is more spacious, but will require a significant consumption of materials.
