Applique making is a very interesting activity for children and adults. In addition, such entertainment develops the imagination and fine motor skills of the child's hands. You can try to master several types of applications.

Step 1
The simplest thing is to simply cut out figures from colored paper and stick them on white cardboard. At first, you can cut out the silhouettes yourself and only after a while allow the child to take the scissors in his hands. You just have to make sure that the children do not cut themselves or accidentally ruin something.
Step 2
There are several types of applications. A breakaway craft is created in an unusual way. Take paper of the color you want and tear it into small pieces. The desired image is glued from these parts. This way of creating appliqués perfectly conveys the texture of the elements of the composition (chicken, grass, cloud, and much more).
Step 3
Select a drawing. Cut out all the necessary elements from paper. Glue the largest parts first, gradually moving to the smallest ones. You will get an invoice applique. Silhouettes of all shapes can be marked using templates.
Step 4
To create a modular applique, cut out several identical geometric shapes and create the image you want from them.
Step 5
A symmetrical appliqué can be created quickly and easily. Get a square or rectangle of the desired size from colored paper. Fold it in half, grab the fold and cut out half of the image you want. You will end up with a whole figure. Various paper garlands are created using ribbon appliqués.
Step 6
A symmetrical applique is perfect for getting flowers out of paper. Cut four identical tulips, fold them in half, mark the fold lines. Spread them out and glue them, placing them in halves to each other.
Step 7
Flowers with a rosette structure (gerberas, cornflowers, daisies) are created in a different way. Take a square piece of paper of the color you want and fold it diagonally. Fold the resulting triangle in half again. Imagine that the corner is the middle of the flower, cut out the petal. Expand the workpiece, you should get a neat flower.
