Lovers often make gifts to each other, both on holidays and on ordinary days, and quite often they present each other with various attributes in the form of hearts - postcards, figurines, jewelry, and so on. You can surprise your soul mate by presenting her with a heart-shaped figure made with your own hands from a simple sheet of paper without scissors and glue.

Instructions

Step 1

To fold the heart using the origami technique, take a square piece of red paper with a side of 15 cm. Fold the square diagonally to form a triangle, and place the triangle in front of you with the base down.

Step 2

Draw a vertical line perpendicular to the base of the triangle and extending from its apex, aligning the right corner with the left corner. Return the right corner to its original position. Now bend the left and right corners up so that their ends meet each other at the top of the triangle, and the sides align with the intended center fold.

Step 3

Place the resulting rhombus in front of you with an open corner upwards, and then fold down the top layer of paper. Two corners will open, aligned at the top point. Bend both corners in opposite directions to the edges of the workpiece.

Step 4

The resulting figure already resembles a heart, but so far it has too sharp corners. To smooth the shape of the heart, fold the top two corners inward and then the two side corners on the left and right. Turn the blank over - you have a paper heart.

Step 5

You can also make a figurine in which two hearts will be connected at once. To do this, take a rectangular piece of paper with a 2: 1 aspect ratio, and then fold it in half lengthwise to outline a line.

Step 6

Now fold the rectangle across in half - you will see the center point of the sheet. Bend the right edge to the center point and unfold, and then do the same with the left edge, but fold it back, not forward.

Step 7

Your rectangle is now divided into six squares. Bend the four corners inward - each corner divides its own square diagonally. Bend the top and bottom edges of the workpiece to the center line and unfold.

Step 8

Bend the top and bottom edges again, bending the middle towards you and the corners away from you. Arch the shape, and then give the two hearts a smoother shape. Bend all the extra edges inward, bend the corners and turn the figure over.
