Dolls are played not only by girls, but also by boys. Such a popular toy can be purchased in the store, or you can make it yourself, using the materials at hand and showing your own imagination.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a material. You can use anything from flannel to silk. Keep in mind the doll must be sturdy. Toddlers love to expose toys to various influences, and so that it does not tear at the first play, you need to choose a dense fabric.
Step 2
Take scissors and cut a 45 x 45 cm square. Make a ball out of the remaining woolen thread. Place the resulting roller in the center of the fabric and tighten with the fabric. Spread it out, the blank will serve as the head of the doll.
Step 3
Look at the remaining piece of cloth and determine what size the toy's arms and legs will be. Make patterns for the limbs, cut and sew, turn every detail inside out. Now start making the torso. Take the rest of the fabric, draw two identical ovals on them. Sew them together, turn them out.
Step 4
Buy sheep's wool, it is most suitable for filling sewn parts. Cotton wool can roll and change the proportions of the product over time. Fill the doll's body, legs, arms with material and sew up the holes. Tie together the parts of the body with threads.
Step 5
Make your hair with cotton threads. Take a thread with a needle, stitch the hair on the doll's head in such a way that it can be combed and shaped to the desired shape. Draw or embroider the doll's eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips. Use buttons, beads, and sequins for decoration. Such a toy can be worn at will, shoes can be made from the remnants of fabric, leather, etc.
