Primus is a small appliance used for cooking or heating small objects. It is not at all difficult to buy a primus today, it can be found in almost any fishing or hardware store, however, why spend money, especially in such a difficult time as now, if you can independently make such a device without much effort.
It is necessary
two beer cans with a volume of 0.5 liters or 1 liter each, sandpaper, a sharp blade or stationery knife, stationery buttons with a long sting, wire, gasoline or kerosene and glass wool
Instructions
Step 1
Sand the beer cans to remove the manufacturer's pattern and cut the bottoms of the beer cans 2cm from the edge of each can. Place the glass wool in the bottom of the jar and cover with the second one, so that the edges of the bottom that covers the top fit tightly into the bottom one.
Step 2
Squeeze the two bottoms together as much as possible, they should be tightly connected together. For fixing, you can use scotch tape, in extreme cases - electrical tape.
Step 3
Use a long-sting pushpin to make five holes in the middle of the top of the resulting device, as well as around the entire circumference of the circle behind the rim on which the beer can is usually placed.
Step 4
Take kerosene or gasoline and pour it in a slow stream upward so that it passes through the five holes made in the center into the product. Pour in small portions until you feel a dangling liquid inside the structure.
Step 5
Make a structure out of wire, bending it, on which you can put, for example, a saucepan. To do this, take a wire about 60 cm long, mark from the tip of one and the other side of the wire, about 25 cm each and bend it down. Turn the resulting letter "P" with its back down and bend again forward, stepping back on both sides of the existing bends, approximately 10 cm. Lower the tips of the tendrils sticking straight down to create a stable structure.
Step 6
Warm up the bottom of your primus with a lighter. Place it on the ground or a sheet of metal.
Bring a lighter from above and set it on fire. Install the wire structure over the product.
Place, for example, a saucepan with fish soup upstairs.
Step 7
Try making a wood burning stove if you don't have beer cans. Take a large block and make a through channel in it (you will have to split the wood into 2 pieces).
Step 8
If split, fold the halves together and wire together.
Place the chock on the fire. It is advisable, to ensure the flow of air, put on stones, and put branches or straw under the bottom. Light the fire - the kerosene stove is ready.
