Watercolors are a great tool for creating landscapes and still lifes. How, if not watercolors, can you convey the transparency of the air, the sun's rays piercing the clouds and the crystallinity of the ice? Whichever stage of learning to draw you are, watercolor will open up a lot of scope for your creativity. Try painting a summer landscape with these colors.

For such a landscape, two colors will be enough for you: yellow and blue. By mixing them in a certain proportion, you get a wide range of shades. In addition to paints and water, you need a brush, a soft simple pencil, an eraser and a sheet of Whatman paper. If you are not painting from nature, then take a high-quality photograph as a basis
Instructions
Step 1
Composition creation. Using a pencil, draw a rectangle on the sheet, marking the borders of the drawing. Transfer the horizon line from the photo, as well as the zones of the main fields: the zone of the forest, the steppe, and so on. You can also draw details. The fact is that the paint is absorbed into the paper itself, while the graphite remains on top, so even after painting, the pencil can be easily erased.
Step 2
Fill. Take a wide brush, tilt the sheet at an angle of 45o and start pouring on the surface that will be the sky. To do this, draw a brush at the top so that a drop remains at the bottom of the stroke, do the second stroke under the previous one, capturing the drop. So you will not see the strokes themselves, but you will get an even canvas. Dip the brush not in paint, but in water, so that the sky is deep, with a smooth dark-light transition. Be sure to wait until the paint is dry before proceeding to the next step. After the sky, fill the area of the field and forest in the same way, each time waiting until the previous paint has dried. Green is obtained by mixing blue and yellow. The more blue, the richer the green.
Step 3
Foreground rendering. It is necessary to add strokes of a deeper color. Apply them unevenly and do not wait to dry. Darken the horizon line to make it appear farther away. Draw diagonally lines that are darker than the base color. This will allow you to see perspective and make the drawing three-dimensional. To shade the perspective, apply some dark paint in the lower right corner of the drawing; to highlight the slope, cover the sheet with water and yellow paint, slightly mixed with blue to get a dirty yellow, and paint over the hill area. You should get unevenness.
Step 4
Add small details. The power line can be painted in blue with a bit of yellow. With a thin brush, pillars are drawn along the field with strokes from top to bottom. Follow the rules of perspective: the further the pillars are, the smaller and thinner they are. Draw the wire using the thinnest brush, barely touching the paper. The closer the pillars, the clearer the wire, the further away, the blurr. Smear can be added after drying by brushing along these lines with a wet brush.
