Bulky, chunky-knit hats are still in vogue. This is a real holiday for lazy knitters, because you can knit a beautiful women's hat in one evening. If you do this work carefully, the product will not differ much from expensive gizmos from popular boutiques. To make your clothes look stylish, use thick yarn and knitting needles No. 9 or 10. A simple but effective pattern - English elastic - will shorten the knitting time. And still, take your time - large knitting will force you to make the loops flawless.

- - thick yarn;
- - centimeter;
- - darning needle;
- - pompom (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Start knitting a hat by calculating the size of its rim. Knit with the selected straight knitting needles from thick yarn a square of elastic (one front loop alternates with one purl loop) 10x10 cm. Measure the circumference of the head, and from the finished sample you will calculate the required number of initial loops.
Step 2
Tie an elastic band of the desired size. If you want to make a hat without a lapel, a 5 cm high cloth will be enough. For hem, double the number of rows.
Step 3
Get started with English gum. Alternate loops in the following sequence:
- in the first row, perform the front one, then remove the yarn and the next loop on the working knitting needle. In this case, the thread should always be located behind the knitting;
- in the second row, first make a yarn over, and then remove the untied loop. A loop with a crochet of the previous row is knitted together as 1 front loop;
- in the third row, knit a loop with a crochet together, then carry out a new crochet. Remove one eyelet according to the sample.
Step 4
Continue to knit a women's hat with an English elastic band, alternating the second and third rows in succession. Thus, you need to make the canvas approximately 21 cm high.
Step 5
Start shaping the top of the headdress by decreasing the loops. It is recommended to switch to circular knitting needles and mentally divide all knitting into 4 identical wedge sections. In every second row, at the beginning of each wedge, knit two pairs of loops together (2 loops are reduced in total).
Step 6
When you knit a canvas 2 cm high (starting from the beginning of the decrease), proceed to work with the front stitch (only front loops are performed in each circular row). Knit 2 cm more of the fabric in this way and close all the loops of the last row.
Step 7
You just need to turn the hat inside out and sew the connecting seams: sew the wedges together, then sew the main knitted stitch on the back of the product.
