Step 1
Tie the collar as a separate piece of clothing, carefully adjusting its shape and the length of the bottom hem according to the finished pattern.

In the process of knitting a collar, it is necessary to put into operation an auxiliary cotton thread of medium thickness. Usually, with its help, the last three or four rows of the collar are performed - this is the connection line with the cut of the front and back.

Please note that if you start knitting a part exactly from the edge that will be sewn to the neck, then enter an additional thread at the beginning of work. Through the required number of rows, continue knitting with only the base yarn.
