Even in early childhood, almost everyone is taught to tinker with paper. Using any technique, be it origami or quilling, you can make almost anything, even an incredibly complex sculpture. And if you are able to fold a crane out of a sheet, then you will definitely be able to create houses for a fabulous city to please your princess. Working with paper is so easy and pleasant, so feel free to involve your child in the creation and for the scale of the project.

It is necessary

  • - colored paper
  • - glue stick
  • - scissors
  • - a sheet of white paper
  • - colour pencils

Instructions

Step 1

Cut out two 15x15 cm squares from two contrasting light / dark sheets of colored paper. From a brown sheet, cut 4 squares 3, 5x3, 5 cm, a rectangle 4x6 cm - for the door. From a white sheet of paper, cut out 4 squares for the "glass" of the house, size 3, 2x3, 2 cm.

Step 2

Take two large squares, attach them to each other and fold in the middle without separating the sheets.

Step 3

Fold the sheets in half again. You should now have a small square. Leave this fold as a guide and the middle of the house. Expand the small square into a rectangle.

Step 4

Twist each side of the resulting rectangle to the middle. You should get 3 fold lines if you unfold the new two folds and leave the shape as a rectangle.

Step 5

All folds, except for the very first one, should be unfolded. Focusing on the lines, wrap the corners (top of the house - the first fold) from each edge inward.

Step 6

Expand the resulting triangles so that the paper of a different color becomes visible, and the contours of the roof and walls are indicated at the house.

Step 7

Glue brown squares of openings on each of the spreads, and white squares of glass on top. Use a felt-tip pen to draw the crossbars of the frames.

Step 8

Glue the door and pipe to the roof.

Step 9

Cut off a thin strip (about 0.5 cm wide) from a sheet of gray paper using scissors, twist it with a spiral and glue one end to the pipe - you get smoke.

Step 10

Decorate the roof with a weather vane or cut a paper bird and sit it on the visor of the house.

Step 11

Change the sizes and colors of large squares, decorate facades with small paper flowers. Paint the houses with paint. Cut trees, grass, and flowers out of paper. Turn on your imagination and surprise your child by building a truly fabulous city.
