Drawing is a great way to take your mind off current problems and immerse yourself in a world of fantasy and creativity. You don't have to be a professional artist to practice this hobby. You can start mastering the intricacies of drawing by creating simple pictures.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, come up with a plot of the future picture. Do not try to overload it with details or give it too complex meaning. You can start by drawing a simple landscape, such as a house in the hills. It is also better to think over all the little things in advance - how many floors there will be in the house, what nature will be around, etc.
Step 2
Choose a picture angle. The simplest is a straight line - for it you need to mentally divide the sheet in half horizontally. If you need to raise the angle a little, zoom in on the bottom to a ratio of about two to one.
Decide what angle the house will be in the painting. It is advisable to start with the simplest option, in which the gaze seems to fall on the angle connecting the end part with the side wall.
Step 3
Start by painting a simple picture of a house. Draw a square or rectangle to represent the front of the building. Draw a rectangle at a slight upward angle - a three-dimensional image of the walls of the house will appear in the picture.
To depict the roof, draw a triangle above the front of the house. Then draw the ramp over the side wall. To do this, draw a line from the top of the triangle parallel to the horizontal part of the wall and another line parallel to the side edge of the triangle.
Step 4
To depict hills, draw several smooth semicircular lines with the convex side to the top of the sheet. Hills can be of different sizes and heights. You can also add trees, rocks, or a body of water to the painting.
Step 5
Optionally, you can make your painting in color. The main thing is not to forget about the laws of chiaroscuro. Mentally position the light source at a certain point and apply paints in accordance with this. The side the light falls on should be lighter. When painting over hills, follow a similar rule. This will give the landscape a more realistic look.
