Biography of Vladimir Mashkov
The future film actor Vladimir Mashkov was born on November 27, 1963 in Tula and was brought up in a creative family. Parents worked in a puppet theater and tried in every possible way to influence the formation of a corresponding worldview in their son. But Volodya was in no hurry to join art: he grew up as a real tomboy, although in high school he nevertheless took up his mind and was seriously carried away by the stage.
After the Mashkov family moved to Novosibirsk, Vladimir began his studies at a theater school, but without completing his studies, he went to Moscow. There he managed to enter the Moscow Art Theater, but eventually left this institution, settling in the theater of Oleg Tabakov and joining the main cast. In 1989, Vladimir made his film debut, playing in the film "Green Fire of a Goat". The next brilliant role was in the film "American Daughter", released in 1995. And in 1997, the actor got the main role in the film "Thief", which received international recognition, and Mashkov became a movie star of the first magnitude.
Since 2001, the actor began to be invited to shoot in foreign films. He has starred in the films American Rhapsody, Dancing at the Blue Iguana, Let's Do It Fast and others. Mashkov also continued to appear in Russian cinema. Viewers saw him in such films as "Dad", "Piranha Hunt", "Kandahar", TV series "The Idiot", "Liquidation", "Gregory R." and others. In 2010, Vladimir was awarded the title of People's Artist of the country. The first relationship of the actor
In 1984, Vladimir Mashkov began to enter into a relationship with Elena Shevchenko. They studied on the same course at the Novosibirsk Theater School and soon realized that they were in love with each other. After meeting for several months, the couple got married. According to Vladimir, this relationship could only be described as “passionate”. But the violent temperament of the newlyweds led to negative consequences: frequent quarrels began, which did not stop even after Elena became pregnant.
Unable to withstand another scandal, the wife complained about her husband's behavior to the school leadership. So the attitude of the teaching staff to Vladimir Mashkov has deteriorated sharply. He decided to leave the institution, divorced his wife and moved to Moscow. Elena had a daughter, Maria. Together with their mother, they also moved to the capital. Vladimir often saw his daughter and took part in her upbringing. She followed in her father's footsteps and also became an actress. Today Maria herself is raising her daughters Stephanie and Alexandra.
Further personal life
As a student at the Moscow Art Theater, Vladimir Mashkov met a new love in the person of the actress Alena Khovanskaya. They lived together for two years, but in the end the relationship broke up due to Mashkov's constant intrigues on the side. The actor really began to enjoy a lot of attention from the opposite sex, and for some time remained an enviable bachelor.
In 2000, while visiting the Kinotavr festival, Vladimir Mashkov met Ksenia Terentyeva, a famous fashion designer and TV journalist, daughter of the famous actress Nonna Terentyeva. The couple quickly found a common language and spent most of their time together. After returning to the capital, Vladimir and Ksenia got married. It was a strong relationship: the young people lived peacefully, the wife supported her husband in everything, helping him with sewing costumes for filming and teaching English. This went on for several years, until one day the actor experienced new love feelings.
This happened during the filming of the movie Let's Do It Quick. Mashkov was fascinated by the brunette beauty, actress Oksana Shelest, and he simply "lost his head." A whirlwind romance began, which forced the actor to divorce Xenia. She did not want to give an agreement for a divorce for a long time, continuing to love her husband, even despite his adventures on the side. Oksana Shelest was in no hurry to consent to marriage. Vladimir had to take care of her for some time and make friends with the parents of the potential bride. He also became a friend to the actress's son from a previous marriage.
Finally, the actor's third official marriage was concluded, but the happiness did not last long again. In 2008, Vladimir began a new romance, according to rumors, this time with a certain French actress. Family scandals followed, ending in another high-profile divorce. Since then, the actor has remained a bachelor. He claims that he is no longer at that age to look for another love adventure again, however, in spite of everything, he believes that one day he will meet his main and only love.
