In his free time from filming, Bill Pullman is engaged in fruit growing in his Los Angeles. The actor is proud of his gardening achievements, which delight his family with a harvest all year round. The most exotic plant in Pullman's garden is the tropical jaboticaba.
The actor has another unusual hobby in his life: he loves to find old abandoned barns and sheds in order to restore them later.
The actor also has his own ranch in Montana, which is helped by his brother and the actor's children. Pullman also has properties in New York.
In an interview, Bill Pullman admitted that he has been deprived of his sense of smell since childhood. This happened after, at a young age, Bill fell from a height and fell into a coma. After that, the actor tried to regain his sense of smell, but to no avail.
