Step 1
Think over the drawing, sketch the elements of the landscape on the sheet, mark the horizon line. You should not carefully draw all the details, because in real life you cannot see the foliage on the tree and the drawing of the pavement in the dark. Limit yourself to general strokes, so the drawing will turn out to be even more mysterious and mysterious.
Step 2
Add shadows. Surely your picture will have lanterns, illuminated shop windows, the moon. At night, objects cast bizarre shadows, and your drawing will benefit if you can capture them.

Prepare the crayons or paints with which you will paint the picture. Gouache gives an excellent effect when mixing colors - with it you can achieve amazing shades of the night sky. When painting with paint, do not forget to regularly dry the drawing so that the contours of the houses do not mix with the faded light of the lantern. If you are painting a city at night with pencils, you can take a small piece of paper and rub the painting with it to mix the colors evenly.

Take care of the sky, because at night it seems especially beautiful. Draw the disk of the moon, put small dots-stars, create clouds. This will bring your picture of the city at night to life. The more stars in the sky, the more elegant the drawing will seem. At the same time, do not forget that if you are drawing a city center in which shop windows are burning and life is in full swing, the stars are practically invisible.

Highlight the main details with strokes of black or dark blue, add white paint to the light of the moon or lantern, paint glare of light on the objects of the drawing - your picture will become brighter and more saturated.
Step 6
You can draw a night city in the following way. Shade a piece of paper with a simple pencil, then draw a city on it with an eraser. Make faded silhouettes of houses and trees, plant a bright moon in the sky. The result is a simple and unusual looking picture.
