Modeling is a hobby that has been popular in the past and is still popular today.
It seems to many that making a beautiful working car model is difficult, but in fact it is not - if you have instructions with a pattern and the necessary materials, the model can be assembled quite quickly even for beginners.
It is necessary
Use thin cardboard and heavy drawing paper as the base material. Also get decorative paper to decorate the model's appearance with, and shiny clear wrap to use for mirrors and windows. Also, find 0.5 cm diameter wooden axle sticks, glue and wire, and a small battery-powered motor
Instructions
Step 1
Find a pattern of the model, for example, "Kamaz", and start assembling from the bottom of the model, the parts of which you want to cut out of thick black paper.
Step 2
Cut out the frame details. Cut holes for the axle in the frame pattern in accordance with the designations on the diagram, and then bend and glue the parts along the lines and designations. There should be a hole in the finished glued frame, into which you will place the electric motor. Approach the installation of the electric motor, axles and accompanying small elements with all attention. Then glue and cut the swivel with bushings, brackets and axle.
Step 3
After the slewing gear, motor and frame are combined, start assembling the wheels. See how many wheels are provided in your model and cut out the blanks, and then glue them together, leaving a hole for the axle.
Connect the wheels according to the instructions, glue washers and other small parts into them. The front wheels slide over the pivot axle you have already assembled.
Step 4
After the base with the wheels is assembled, start cutting and gluing the body. If your car is a Kamaz or a similar truck, then the body consists of a cab and a body, if the car is passenger, you will have a pattern of a one-piece sedan body.
Cut out a cab pattern from thick paper, glue the pre-cut squares of windows and windshield from the inside. Cut out the doors, bonnet or trunk lid separately. Make headlights out of colored film or plastic. Reinforce the cabin from the inside with thick cardboard.
Step 5
Now that all the elements are glued to the booth, glue it according to the instructions and decorate the outside with decorative paper or paint with paint in a bright color.
Then mark the body pattern on the paper and cut it out. The body should also be reinforced with cardboard.
Separately cut and glue the beads that you glue to the body on the sides.
Step 6
The vehicle assembly procedure begins with the lower frame on which the cab is mounted. Either glue the cab or attach it to a bracket so it can move and recline. Glue the bumper and the badge with the number and brand of the car in front of the cab.
At the back of the cab, glue the spare wheel and additional elements - batteries, boxes, brackets, gas tank and so on.
Step 7
From the wire, make a lever for lifting the body. Attach the body from the rear of the cab to the frame. After the car is completely assembled and glued, and the electric motor is attached to the wheel mechanisms, connect it to the control panel and check the mechanism's performance.
