Instructions

Step 1

Farm - the destruction of monsters (mobs) in computer games in order to obtain a particular thing, a reward. A farm zone is a playground where mobs are hunted and destroyed. The server owner can set the necessary parameters of the battle, the quantity and quality of things (drops) received when the enemy is destroyed. Each new farm zone brings variety to the game, gives it new colors.

Step 2

To create a play area, first select a suitable hunting location. Then choose the monsters that are best in appearance. But a simple choice by level is also possible.

Step 3

Configure bots. Press shift and click on the monster with the left mouse button, the setting menu will open. Select the Edit npc command - editing the mob and set all the necessary characteristics of the game character.

Step 4

Set the settings of things (drops) that the player will receive after the destruction of the monster. In the same context menu, select the Add drop command and specify the item number (its id), quantity (min and max), the spoil parameter must be equal to zero. Also set the chance of getting a drop, for example, a value of 10000 will correspond to 10%, 30,000 - 30%, etc. The Show drop command allows you to see the settings for the added drop. The finished mob should be cloned the required number of times to populate the farm zone.

Step 5

The zone is ready, but players must be allowed to reach it, provided that the play space is not included in the existing teleporters. Open the database, find the npc table. Add a blank to it - you need to make it from a copy of an existing npc by changing the id. Specify type L2Teleporter, the stock is ready. Now open the teleport table in the database. In the description field, specify the name of the location, then its id, coordinates x, y, z, prise (price for a teleport).

Step 6

Create an npc dialogue so the player can enter the new zone. Open data / html / teleporter and create a simple html file in this directory with a welcome and transition options. The file can be like this:

Gatekeeper:

Replace this line with the required welcome text and any necessary explanations - for example, “Do you want to go to a new world?

Yes I want to!

Substitute the teleport number instead of 1234.
