To get the right to purchase, you need to complete all the tasks of the lord Falk Firebeard, as well as the request of Jarl Elisif. In addition, you will have to help five citizens of Solitude.
The largest dwelling is the house of Hjerim in Windhelm, the purchase of which becomes available after completing the task "Blood on Ice" and the Civil War, when it is necessary to complete all the quests for one of the fighting parties - the Stormcloaks or the Imperial Legion. The house is worth 12,000 gold coins, with an additional 9,000 to be upgraded.
In addition, in Skyrim, you can purchase a house in Markarth called Vlindrell Hall. The purchase requirements are as follows:
- the hero must be at least level 20;
- complete the tasks of the jarl of the city;
- to provide assistance to five residents of Markarth.
This dwelling, carved into the rock, costs 8000 coins, and can be upgraded for 4200 gold.
As soon as you receive the title of thana in a particular city, a bodyguard - huscarl will settle in your house.
Finally, the last of the houses for sale is Medovik in the town of Riften. Its peculiarity is the presence of two exits: to the city and beyond. Conditions for obtaining a purchase opportunity: kill the bandits for the Jarl, stop the drug trade in the city and help several residents of Riften. The house will cost 8000 coins, improvement - 4300.
