Igor Vostrikov is the leader of the Great Empire movement, which was created after the fire in Winter Cherry. On March 25, 2018, he lost his wife and three children on it. He was the first to address the people after the events.
Igor Vostrikov is a resident of Kemerovo who lost his family in a fire in the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping center. A sister, wife and three children died in it. After the tragedy, he openly went to journalists, telling all the information that was known to his relatives.
What happened?
On March 25, 2018, the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping center burned down. According to official data, 64 people died, including 41 children. Most of the victims were in the cinema watching the cartoon "Sherlock Gnomes". During the fire, all internal doors were closed, which created a trap for people. It was in this room that the whole family of Igor Vostrikov was located.
The next day, he went to the journalists, telling all the information, including unconfirmed ones. According to him, many more people died, but the authorities deliberately hide this information. The video instantly spread over the network, causing a flurry of emotions among users.
On March 27, a mass meeting was held in the central square. People demanded the resignation of the governor and a meeting with the president. The townspeople wanted to know:
- how many people actually died in the fire;
- what are the reasons for its occurrence;
- what actions will be taken to find and punish those responsible.
Vostrikov was recognized as one of the leaders of the meeting. His face became even more recognizable, the photo scattered all over social networks. Vice-Governor Sergei Tsivelev told Igor Vostrikov: "You are promoting the tragedy." The man replied that he had lost his entire family in the fire.
Igor Vostrikov's opinion
He said that during the tragedy he was in another city and was able to drive up only at 22.00. In his opinion:
- people had no chance of salvation, everyone was locked up;
- not exactly 64 died, on a day off, there were more than 350 people;
- all subsequent bitches drove people to the morgue in whole cordons.
On 4 April 2018, Igor Vostrikov, together with his mother-in-law, wrote down an appeal to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The woman said that her daughter called, shouted that her daughter was suffocating. The mother-in-law called the Ministry of Emergency Situations, asked for information, but this did not follow. The family wonders why the balloons were taken out in the first place, and not the children.
Where is Igor Vostrikov now?
Today he is engaged in the creation of the public movement "Great Empire". It includes the relatives of the deceased citizens and just activists. Despite the fact that the movement is intended to unite all citizens, regardless of their religious, political and other views on life, it is political. The main goal is to return power to the people, but without calling for revolution, overthrow of power and other options for war.
The movement set the first task - to reform the Ministry of Emergencies, to send the Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov to prison. The basic principles of the party:
- creation of an independent media;
- decentralization of power;
- opening headquarters in different cities to attract more citizens.
It is assumed that the movement will interact with the President-elect of Russia. The movement positions itself as peaceful, created to improve the standard of living in our country. It is planned to reduce the role of the government, to subordinate it to the people in 5-6 years.
There are still many mysteries around Vostrikov's personality. No one knows exactly who he worked before the tragic events or works. When addressing the people, two people are present next to him - a military intelligence officer and the founder of the Siberian Center for Psychology and Development.
The "Great Empire" is perceived by many bloggers as a political sect, to which other political organizations, including anti-American ones, have a relationship. The number of party members continues to grow. Igor Vostrikov says that their movement will not refuse to support the oligarchs, since resources are needed.
