It is necessary

  • - soap base (white or transparent);
  • - essential oil (selected individually, depending on the type of skin);
  • - base oil (apricot, peach, olive, almond, etc.);
  • - dyes (natural, food or special);
  • - additives (dried flowers, honey, herbal infusion, glycerin, etc.);
  • - dishes (for using a water bath);
  • - shape (it is possible to use children's molds, ceramic or plastic containers);
  • - alcohol (for mold lubrication);
  • - water (decoction) to dilute the base.

Instructions

Step 1

Grate or cut into small pieces of soap base, which can be purchased at specialty stores. This will speed up the melting process and save you some time.

Step 2

Melt the prepared base in a water bath, remembering to stir it periodically, until you get a homogeneous mass. If the resulting mixture has a thick consistency, add a little water or herbal decoction.

Step 3

Add 1 teaspoon of base oil to the soap (your choice) at the rate of 1 teaspoon per 30 g of base and mix well. As a rule, the choice of oil (olive, peach, almond, etc.) is based on your own preferences and often the choice depends on the type and perception of the skin.

Step 4

Remove the soap base from heat and add additional ingredients that will enhance your product and give it additional properties (flavors, colors, glycerin, essential oil, etc.). If you want to make a scrub soap, use oatmeal, natural coffee, or crushed grape seeds as an additive.

Step 5

Prepare the molds for your soap by greasing them with rubbing alcohol beforehand. It is recommended to use molds made of ceramic or plastic material, they calmly tolerate temperature extremes.

Step 6

Gently pour the liquid soap into the molds, sprinkling the surface of the alcohols to prevent bubbles and roughness.

Step 7

Leave the soap for 2-3 hours until it cools completely, after which it is recommended to put the finished product in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

Step 8

Carefully remove the prepared soap from the molds. It will be a great gift for your loved ones, friends and family. The main feature of handmade soaps is natural products that directly affect the expiration date of the gift. Therefore, be more careful about the components from which you make your product.
