To make a crow costume, you need little: a skirt and a black sweater, a black thin hat, knitted or sewn. But you also need a beak, which is attached to the cap. It can be made of cardboard or paraplen and covered with black cloth. The beak and doll crows are made according to the same principle.

Instructions
Step 1
Build a pattern. To do this, it is best to take graph paper or a double sheet of paper in the box. Draw a line 8-10 cm long and divide it in half. Draw a perpendicular to the middle at a distance of 15-20 cm and put a point. Connect it to the ends of the starting line. You now have an isosceles triangle. Its dimensions depend on the size of the cap. Cut out a pattern.
Step 2
Circle the triangle over a piece of paraplen and cut out. It is best to do this with a sharp knife with a trapezoidal blade, but sharp scissors can also be used. Make 2 triangles out of black fabric. Natural fabric is preferable, since it is not dissolved by Moment glue. Test the synthetic one by smearing a piece of glue with glue. You dig one triangle exactly along the contour, the second - with allowances for the thickness of the paraplen and gluing.
Step 3
The paraplenine base must be shaped. To do this, sew the triangle with a thick cotton thread around the entire perimeter with a needle forward seam and gather a little. Apply glue to the back of the larger triangle. Glue it to the concave part of the base. Fold the allowances over the upper convex part and smooth. Let the workpiece dry. Overcast or overlock the upper triangle around the perimeter. Sew it along the contour with a needle-forward seam and try it on to the base. Pull up so that its shape matches the shape of the paraplen. Lubricate the wrong side with glue and press against the base. Until the beak is dry, you can carefully cut the basting thread in several places and pull it out. But if the basting seam is neat and even, then you don't need to do this.
Step 4
Dry your beak. Sew it to the hat so that it remains horizontal when you put it on. To do this, sew it with a seam "over the edge" from the front of the cap with very small stitches. Tighten the stitches well, but so that the paraplen does not break.
