The purpose of cleaning a shotgun is to neutralize acid residues, remove carbon deposits from the pores as much as possible, and remove lead and polyethylene from the bore. This also includes the subsequent lubrication of the gun.
It is necessary
- 1. Steel coil spring brush for lead removal.
- 2. Brass wire brush to fit the chamber.
- 3. Visher (wire loop for winding patches)
- 4. Puff.
- 5. Bristle brush.
- 6. Wooden dismountable cleaning rod.
- 7. Weakly alkaline spray oil.
- 8. Weapon neutral oil.
- 9. Pieces of white cotton fabric.
Instructions
Step 1
Having disassembled the gun, take the barrels in your hands.
Take an alkaline spray and fill the barrel channels completely with spray foam.
Apply it also to the breech cut into the extractor / ejector mechanism.
Saturate the outside of the muzzle of the barrels with the solution. (5-7 cm from the end)
Spray the stock with the receiver and the inside of the receiver.
Leave it all to lie down for 10-20 minutes.
Step 2
Now take a ramrod with a cherry and wrap the fabric not too tightly on it.
Several times, moving from the breech to the muzzle, go through the barrel, cleaning it of alkali and blackness.
The trunks must be wiped dry.
Step 3
Spray each barrel with neutral oil and wipe dry again.
Take a spring-loaded twisted metal ruff and go from the chamber to the muzzle each barrel once.
Step 4
Spill the barrels again with oil and again go through the ramrod with a clean cloth 3-4 times until the lead sparkles stop remaining on it.
Oil and wipe dry again.
Step 5
Pass the brass wire brush with a ramrod, slowly and carefully pushing and turning it from the chamber to the choke.
Oil the barrels and wipe down.
Repeat the operation with the brass wire brush and ramrod 4-5 times until the fabric stops staining.
Step 6
After cleaning the barrels and other parts of the gun, completely removing traces of alkaline composition and oil drips, lubricate the gun.
To do this, moisten the powder puff liberally with gun oil and use a ramrod to coat each barrel from the chamber to the chokes.
Clean the aiming strip along its entire length with a napkin moistened with neutral oil and a stick, the strips with which the barrels are soldered.
In the same way, clean and lubricate the rest of the parts and reassemble the gun.
