Step 1
Choose a fabric for your trousers. Made of woolen fabric, they are perfect for a summer jacket. Corduroy trousers are combined with a sports jacket, and flannel trousers are combined with jackets made of fabric of a similar structure. Cavalry tweed or wool flannel are suitable for trousers that are part of an ensemble for formal occasions.
Step 2
Cut out the two front and two back halves of the trousers, the hem and the belt from the trouser fabric. Make four burlap pockets from the lining fabric. Sew darts on the back halves. Fold them in towards the middle seam and press. Then sew the sides of the trousers, leaving the pockets open.
Step 3
Overcast pocket edges with straight bins. Sew the piping on the inside of the burlap. Fold the sackcloths from the wrong side of the trousers with allowances for the entry pockets. Pin the burlap without edging to the front half, and the burlap without it - to the back. Sew along the side seam lines.
Step 4
Sew the cuts from the zipper cut to the crotch and step cuts. Then sew in the zipper. Sew a belt to the top cut. Sew the fastener allowance to the hem. Press the allowances on the waistband. Fold it in with the right side. Unscrew the allowances of the lower edge of the belt up. Turning out the belt, sew the cuts at the ends.
Step 5
Set aside 8, 5 cm from the line of the middle of the belt on both sides. Make marks for the drawstring. Fold the inner half of the belt between the marks and stitch it over the seam of the belt. On the section of the drawstring, sew a stitch into the seam of the belt.
Step 6
Slide in the elastic, stitching the ends near the marks. Stitch in the inner section of the waistband. Sew a button on one end, and overcast a buttonhole on the other with a zigzag stitch. On the wrong side, press hem allowances on the hem of each leg. Sew on by hand. Make belt loops and sew.
