For most people, exciting travel and thrilling adventures are a welcome pastime. And how could it be otherwise, because it gives so many positive emotions and unique impressions, especially when it comes to traveling on an aircraft. By the way, you can build a gyroplane with your own hands.

It is necessary

Duralumin tube (5x5 centimeters section and 3mm thick walls), electric drill, brackets, MB bolts, wheel axles, seat, rubber tube of a truck, ribbons, fabric-covered foam pad, brake device, pedal assembly, counterweights and tail wheel …

Instructions

Step 1

Make axial and keel beams using duralumin pipe for this. The holes in the beams are made so that the drill bit only touches the inside of the walls. Drill the right bracket through the hole in the base of the mast that is pressed against it. Screw on the left bracket using the holes in the attached right bracket. The beams are ready.

Step 2

Bevel the base of the mast slightly so that it can be tilted so that the main rotor blades have a nine-degree angle of attack. This is necessary for the appearance of lift.

Step 3

Attach the axle beam to the keel with four MB bolts. Screw the wheel axles to the ends of the axle beam.

Step 4

Attach the backrest and seat frame first to each other and then to the gyroplane mast. It is done like this: put rings on the seat frame, cutting them out from the rubber chamber of the truck beforehand. Place a fabric-covered foam pad on top and tie it tightly with ribbons.

Step 5

Suspend the braking device from the nose wheel stays of the gyroplane.

Step 6

Screw on the aerodynamic rudder pedals. Attach pieces of cable to the pedals that extend to the rudder hogs.

Step 7

Attach the truss to the airspeed indicator.

Step 8

Rivet the strips at the attachment points of the fin keel to the stabilizer. This is required to increase the rigidity of the connection.

Step 9

Attach two counterweights to the aerodynamic horn, 350 grams each. They are necessary to eliminate the flutter phenomenon.

Step 10

Screw the tail wheel into the end of the keel boom.
