Calligraphy - the art of beautiful handwriting - implies not only clarity and evenness of letters, but also their artistic design. Each letter gives unlimited scope for imagination, but the decoration of the vowel "o" is a topic for a separate conversation.
Instructions
Step 1
Start from the shape of the letter. It's a circle. Write the letter as any round object: eyes, “okay” (thumb and forefinger connected, rest extended), wheel, or sun, depending on the context.
Step 2
Distort the shape. Let the "o" not be round, but rectangular: turn the lateral lines into biconcave columns, and the upper and lower ones into closed capitals and a floor (foundation).
Step 3
Arrange several small hand-drawn objects, animals or people (depending on the context) in a circle.
Step 4
Use a variety of curved and broken lines, thickening and tapering. Use different pressure for different areas.
Step 5
Use geometric shapes and decorative ornamental elements: circles, squares, loops, waves. Arrange them in any order, trying to maintain the general tendency to return to the starting point of the letter.
Step 6
Use words starting with "o". Draw at least one of them, making it look like a circle. The meaning will be understood by association not only from the figure, but also from the contents of the picture.
