"Univer" is a youth sitcom series, or situational comedy, which has been broadcast on TNT since 2008. To date, four seasons of the series have been filmed, and since 2011 the sitcom “Univer. New hostel ", which is a logical continuation of" Univer ".
The popularity of the series "Univer" among young people is easily explainable: it was this sitcom that was able to cheerfully and truthfully show the life of modern students. The main place of action of "Univer" is the hostel number 3 of one of the Moscow universities, where the main characters study. This is the future astronomer, the son of the oligarch Sasha Sergeev, his girlfriend, and then his wife, Tanya Arkhipova, a graduate student-lawyer, as well as a philologist Eduard Kuzmin, whom everyone calls Kuzya, a blonde student of the Faculty of Psychology Alla, and many others. Among the main characters, in addition to the residents of the hostel, is the oligarch Sylvester Andreevich Sergeev, Sasha's father, who falls in love with the university teacher Vera Pavlovna.
The first season of the series begins with the fact that the son of the oligarch Sasha escapes from England, in spite of his father enters an ordinary Moscow university (the name is not announced) and settles in hostel number 3, in which a cheerful company already lives: the beautiful blonde Allochka, who is at all events his life reacts with the word "Scribe!", a dull but sweet Kuzya, a womanizer and paranoid Gosha and an excellent student Tanya. The subsequent episodes are a set of anecdotal and lyrical situations in which the heroes take turns. Tanya and Sasha are gradually getting closer, Allochka gets a job as a secretary in Sylvester Andreyevich's office and hopes for a successful marriage, Kuzya mistakenly drinks a love potion that was supposed to return Sasha to Rublyovka, and leaves for his native Agapovka, but then returns. In the last episode of the season, Gosha is expelled from the university, and after an unsuccessful attempt at a fictitious wedding with the dean's daughter, he goes to the army.
In the second season, an Armenian from Adler, Arthur Mikaelyan, nicknamed Michael, is settled in Gosha's place in the hostel. Periodically, his older brother Ashot, a married womanizer, appears in the lives of the heroes. Pretty woman Alla understands that she has fallen in love with the simpleton Kuzya, and the oligarch Sylvester Andreevich is crazy about his son's teacher. Throughout almost the entire season, love affairs are not going well with anyone, Tanya quarrels with Sasha, Allochka's hints do not reach Kuzi, and Vera does not respond to Sylvester's courtship.
The third season puts the couples in their places: Tanya and Sasha are together again, Michael saves his brother from divorce from the beautiful Karina. Alla is jealous of Kuzya, because he recorded the song and became a real "star" of the whole university! And in one of the episodes of this season, the heroes of the sitcom "Happy Together" appear: Roma Bukin and his father Gennady.
The return from Gosha's army marks the beginning of the fourth season. Michael first fights with him for a place in the hostel, and then begins to meet with Alla. Gosha also has a girl - a student of the Faculty of Biology Lilya, a vegetarian who is fond of spiritualism. She settles into the place of Tanya, who, together with Sasha, moves to Rublevka. However, not for long. In the next, last season, they will have to ask back to the hostel, and not only they, but also two more couples will apply for an empty room.
The fifth season is unusual in that a baby appears in the ranks of the main characters: the son of Sasha and Tanya. Meanwhile, young parents are still not married due to strange and comical circumstances. The long-awaited wedding, as well as preparation for the defense of diplomas, the series ends.
