The Moldavian pyramid is also called the "Japanese tetrahedron". This puzzle was especially popular in Soviet times, when even grown-up fellow citizens tried to collect its colors for speed. It worked for those who knew the rules for setting colors.

Instructions

Step 1

The puzzle is in the shape of a tetrahedron, the edges of which are painted in 4 different colors. Moreover, each of them is divided into 9 regular triangles, the vertices of which rotate, and the inner ones move relative to each other. In an exploded view, the colors alternate on the edges.

Step 2

Expose all vertices (trefoils) - all vertices of each of the faces should be the same color. Rotate the corner pieces so that the colors of their edges match the colors of the triangles of the top pieces, you get rhombuses of the same color. According to the color of these rhombuses, you will collect the entire face.

Step 3

Collect the bottom layer. To do this, insert a triangle of the same color into the triangle of your choice, sandwiched between the one-color rhombuses. As a rule, you only need to perform one operation - rotate one of the faces around an axis. You have a solid base edge with an opposing diamond of the same color. There are 2 multi-colored triangles on the edge.

Step 4

Rotate the top with the rhombus once clockwise, then rotate the lower right corner of the pyramid also clockwise. A triangle of the desired color will join your rhombus, you just have to return the vertex to its original place, now turning it counterclockwise. You will end up with a monochromatic face with only one triangle in a different tone.

Step 5

Rotate the vertex with the different triangle counterclockwise and replace it with the element of the desired color in the same way as the previous one. You have got one face of the specified color.

Step 6

Flip the pyramid over so that the assembled face becomes its base. Assemble one of the upper faces according to the described scheme. Please note that the elements of the colors you need are located on the edges, but not on the base, so each time you make a turn, be careful not to disassemble the base.

Step 7

As a rule, if you collect one of the "standing" faces, the rest are automatically assembled. In order to have a visual idea of the sequence of actions, watch one of the video tutorials, for example,
