Magicians and illusionists have long attracted the attention and admiration of spectators who wonder how this or that trick was performed and what is the secret of the magician's skill, who surprises the people around him with sleight of hand and stage skill. One of the old types of tricks is the card trick. There are tons of different card tricks, and they are not that hard to master if you decide to surprise your friends.
Instructions
Step 1
Card tricks are versatile and simple, as the cards can always be at your fingertips. Use their features in order for the tricks to be successful - divide the cards by suits and colors, and also use the numerical value of the cards. It is best to use a deck of 54 cards for card tricks.
Step 2
Start learning card tricks with the simplest tricks, such as a trick involving three card layouts. Take 21 cards from the deck and arrange all the cards face up in seven rows. Each row should contain three cards.
Step 3
Ask any spectator watching the focus to memorize one of the cards and tell you which column of the three it is in. After that, collect all the cards back into the piles, so that you get three piles. Then combine these three piles into one deck by placing the pile with the card of your choice in the middle.
Step 4
Turn the deck face down and again lay out the three columns of seven cards each on the table. Again ask the viewer who has chosen the card to indicate the column containing the hidden card. Collect the cards in three piles, and place the pile with the indicated card in the middle of the general deck again. Do the same a third time. Count the cards in the deck - the eleventh card will be the one suggested by the viewer.
Step 5
Finding a hidden card is a popular trick, and it comes in many varieties. For example, you might show the audience a deck of cards and ask someone to choose one card from the deck, and then put it on the deck until you see it. Remove the deck and swap the bottom and top of it.
Step 6
Place the cards face down and indicate the card chosen by the viewer - in order to correctly guess it, pay attention before focus to which card is at the bottom of the deck. Memorize this card, and then, laying out the deck, indicate the next card that the spectator has chosen.
